[Reporter Chen Yijia/Taipei Report] Outlying islands have insufficient medical resources and often rely on air evacuation for rescue. The "Ambulance Aircraft Station Preparation and Delivery Service Plan" has been launched on three outlying islands, including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. In mid-July this year Previously, the "medical plane" will fly into outlying islands, and Ep Air will be in charge of Penghu and Matsu, while  Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp will be stationed in Kinmen for missions.

 Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp expects to be used for medical evacuation from the Kinmen Islands as early as June. The medical plane Embraer Phenom 300, which will perform missions in the future, made its debut today. This Embraer Phenom 300 is registered B-95119, the last number 119 symbolizes 24-hour uninterrupted service, will be stationed in Kinmen, the maximum range is 5 hours, the size of stretcher, 15.9 meters long fuselage, 16.2 meters wide wingspan, 5 meters high.

Philip Yang, chairman of  Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp, said that the twin-engine jet Embraer  Phenom 300 purchased at a cost of 10 million U.S. dollars last year will provide the fastest and safest medical evacuation services for residents of Kinmen outlying islands. Taiwan only needs 45 minutes, greatly shortening the medical evacuation process to 1.5 to 2 hours, and it is expected to be operational in June at the earliest.

Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp held a medical charter fleet presentation today, stating that with the prevailing domestic and foreign travel trends, the risk of overseas accidents has also increased. It is seeing the increasing demand for international emergency medical rescue and strengthening the medical chartered aircraft fleet. Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp stated that it currently owns 11 aircraft and provides business jet and medical jet services for the largest private jet operating company in Taiwan.

In terms of emergency medical transfer and rescue services, combining professional and prompt aviation medicine and emergency and critical care medical teams, a 24-hour rescue service center, and a strategically aligned global medical network, four of its medical jets are currently deployed at airports in Taiwan and Thailand. Expansion across Asia; 3 of them are registered in Taiwan, including the Legacy 600, the first long-range double stretcher medical plane in Taiwan, and the Hawker 400XP, which performs the most urgent medical tasks.

Philip Yang said that the emergency medical rescue service ultimate goal is to provide seamless rescue all over the world. In view of the urgent need for medical evacuation by residents of outlying islands, Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp has added a new force to the medical jet fleet.

Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp has started to provide medical charter services in 2012. It currently manages 11 private and charter jets, and the total assets of the operating fleet exceed NT$10 billion. Until Today, the total number of emergency medical rescue services including transfer cases has exceeded 4,500 cases, of which more than 250 cases have been transferred internationally by medical evacuation aircraft.
