The Only Training Pilot University in Taiwan is Here! Flying Dream Base Opened Today

On December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers completed the first successful powered flight of mankind. Chaoyang University of Science and Technology initiated the Department of Flight and Civil Aviation Personnel Technology. Today, December 17, the opening ceremony of the Flying Dream Base and the Department of Flight and Civil Aviation Personnel Technology will be held. People from the domestic aviation industry gathered to celebrate.
Zheng Daoming, President of Chaoyang University of Science and Technology, said that in order to cultivate elites in international aviation, the school was approved by the Ministry of Education this year to establish the Department of Flight and Civil Aviation Personnel Technology after the establishment of the Department of Aviation Machinery. The only university that can train professional pilots has attracted attention from all walks of life.
Today includes the CAA Standards Team Leader Yu Yishi, China Airlines Deputy General Manager Zhou Zhixian, EVA Air Service Headquarters Associate Xu Ping, Executive Aviation Taiwan Corp. General Manager Alex Lu, Daily Air General Manager Guo Burui, GE Aviation Greater China Regional Manager Zheng Junyuan, etc. People attending the meeting hope to cultivate a new motivations for the aviation industry.
Zheng Daoming explained that Chaoyang Branch is generally committed to internationalization, and has been ranked as the world's best university of the British Times Higher Education 1000+ for 4 consecutive years, hoping to cultivate students with international employ-ability. The talents cultivated by the aviation industry meet the international employ--ability. The Department of Aviation Machinery on campus first enrolled students last year. This year, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to establish the Department of Flight and Civil Aviation Personnel Technology. It can recruit students next year and apply for the establishment of the Department of Aviation Operations. The aviation academy is set up in the three main axes of business aviation, aircraft maintenance, and transportation, so that students can move toward an internationally recognized aviation major.
Jiang Zhihong, Director of the Preparatory Office of the School of Aviation of Chaoyang University of Science and Technology, said that the school spent 500 million yuan to build the School of Aviation. The new aviation building is expected to be opened next year. The flight operation practice equipment is very complete. The university signed training cooperation, and also signed a memorandum of cooperation with EVA Airlines, Weixiang Airlines, AIDC, AirAsia, and Mandarin Airlines to cultivate civil aviation professionals.
Lu Yanliang, the preparatory director of the Department of Flight and Civil Aviation Personnel Technology of Chaoyang University of Science and Technology, said that the department is integrated with industry practice, focusing on flight technology and arranging online internships for students. Students have the opportunity to participate in the flight training program of EVA. Graduates can invest in pilots, dispatchers, aircraft maintenance engineers, flight controllers, etc. The prospects are promising.
